Pleasant Street Isn’t So Pleasant This Evening

Fall River, Massachusetts – June 26, 2025 A stretch of Pleasant Street in Fall River was anything but calm Thursday night, after an incident left one man hospitalized and prompted a swift response from police and emergency crews.
The commotion unfolded near the intersection of Pleasant and 11th Streets shortly before 8 p.m. First responders arrived on scene within minutes and taped off part of the roadway while assessing the situation.
One man was taken to Saint Anne’s Hospital with injuries that officials say are not life-threatening. His current condition has not been made public.
The nature of the incident has not been officially confirmed, though traffic in the area was temporarily diverted as authorities put the pieces together on what transpired that evening. Several nearby residents looked on from their porches as the investigation got underway.
As of late Thursday evening, no further details had been released.
