MASSACHUSETTS – The South Coast is bracing for unrest as a wave of coordinated riots tied to the radical “No Kings” movement is set to unfold on Saturday, June 14. Despite the organized nature of these events and the threat they pose to public order, state and local officials have failed to issue any public alerts, leaving families unaware of the potential danger headed toward their communities.
While the group’s national website, NoKings.org, frames the day as a “peaceful Day of Defiance,” the reality on the ground tells a different story. These events are not simple protests—they are designed to cause disruption, block highways, and provoke confrontation. Organizers and supporters are encouraging direct action against what they describe as authoritarian institutions, with many participants reportedly armed and prepared for escalation.
In Swansea, demonstrators are expected to take over Grand Army Highway between 10:00 AM and 12:00 PM, with credible reports pointing to deliberate traffic blockades. This major route is a vital corridor for commuters and emergency services, and any disruption poses a serious risk to public safety. They may not explicitly say they will be blocking the street on their website but the posting has been left blank unlike others which give a description the pin is also in the middle of the highway so it's safe to assume what might happen.
In Fall River, the event will take place from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, though no formal location has been released. The city’s densely populated layout and central roadways make it highly susceptible to rapid shutdowns and flash demonstrations.
New Bedford will see one of the longest disruptions, with the action running from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM. While the rally is being framed as “peaceful,” local chatter suggests a coordinated effort to expand the demonstration into key downtown areas.
In Wareham, a protest is scheduled from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM. Though brief, the town’s location near major highways and coastal routes raises concern about traffic interference and potential overflow from other communities.
Finally, Bourne will host a roadside demonstration from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM. Organizers are targeting visible public areas to maximize disruption and media attention.
The events listed above are only on the South Coast. There are events happening all across the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Please do not engage with their website or share content directly from it, as this increases their visibility in search results and gives them more traffic.
